This week we passed historic equal pay legislation before the end of session!

Bills include:

• S. 6549 Carlucci/ A.5308 Crespo by banning the salary history question for job applicants;
• S.5248 Biaggi / A.8093 McMahon:by expanding the Equal Pay for Equal Work standard to Equal Pay for Substantially Similar Work for women, people
  of color, LGBTQ and disabled people, and other protected groups in the NYS Human Rights Law working in the private sector,
• S.6436 Montgomery/ A.7748 Rosenthal for public sector employees.
• S.456A Benjamin / A.1047B Simotas by providing public sector workers with new rights to ensure fair pay.
