In light of the pandemic’s devastating effects on women and families, the 16th Annual New York Equal Pay Day on March 15, 2022 brought together leaders and advocates statewide to call for a bold, multi-pronged approach to ending wage inequality. We pushed for immediate action on a NYS Salary Range Disclosure law, increased funding for universal Child care and Fair Pay for Home Care Workers in the NYS FY 2023 budget, which is currently in final negotiations. The day was incredibly successful and was covered multiple outlets.
