For Mother’s Equal Pay Day, PowHerNY hosted a panel with experts and mothers to discuss the challenges of motherhood and work during COVID-19. In a time when the nation has not only been impacted by a global pandemic but is reckoning with long-standing and structural racism, this event highlighted the experiences of mothers and particularly mothers of color as they navigate employment, care-giving and financial insecurity.
