You probably know that our PowHer The Vote campaign focuses on prioritizing women’s issues in New York State. Shouldn’t the rest of the country be doing the same?

As you watch the #Debates2016 and tweet using #PowHerTheVote, raise your voice to keep women’s issues in the forefront. Even if the candidates tonight are not asked these questions, we want answers from all candidates and elected officials in the months and years to come.

1. How can the U.S. continue to address closing the gender wage gap?
2. How do you plan to address the need for family friendly workplace practices?
3. How can the government increase affordable, accessible, quality childcare?
4. How can we increase access to higher paying, “non-traditional” jobs for women?
5. How do you plan to prioritize women’s health, including reproductive options?
6. How can we make women and the LGBTQ community safer in the private, public, and work environment?
7. How can we “empowher” more women to take the lead in business, government and their communities?
